Klub dobrej fotografie, o.z. invites you to the first public meeting, which will take place

September 12 at 17:00 at Kácečku, on Kamennom Námestí 1/a in Bratislava

. The meeting will offer a space to present the vision and plans of the club.

Klub dobrej fotografie aims to bring together photography lovers and support cultural life in Bratislava. We plan to organize exhibitions, discussions, and workshops that will be open to all age groups. We are a club for photographers from the Bratislava region and all of Slovakia, focused on developing talent and supporting community activities. Through cooperation with city and state organizations, we want to contribute to the creation of cultural initiatives beneficial to the city and its residents. We also focus on working with young photographers.

The program will be opened by Rudolf Baranovič, a well-known Bratislava photographer and chair of Klub dobrej fotografie, who will present the vision and direction of the new organization. Gabriela Teplická will present her new photography project, and Michal Svitok from TASR will share experiences of shooting at the Olympics.

As guests to support Klub dobrej fotografie, Adriána Rabatinová, head of the Department of Culture, Sports and Leisure in the Nové Mesto city district, will come and highlight the importance of this initiative for the local community. She seeks interesting personalities and communities and looks for tools to make them visible. Pavol Demeš, a respected political analyst and active photographer who focuses on supporting culture and photography as an instrument of international cooperation, and Vladimír Grežo, a long-standing organizer of cultural life and supporter of cultural projects in Bratislava, chair of the Board of Bratislava Tourist Board.

The evening will be enriched by a musical performance by renowned saxophonist Nikolaja Nikitin and guitarist Erika Kováča.

Rudolf Baranovič is a longtime collaborator with the journals Prohuman and Projustice. His photographs have been shaping the visual side of the articles that you can find on our website for years.
