Into the hands of social service providers, public administration workers, experts, students, and other interested parties, in these days is arriving with its content, number of authors, and scope, an entirely unique professional publication, “Care Service in the Czech Republic.” The formal launch of the book will take place at a gala evening on Thursday, 7 October 2010, during the 2nd annual congress of social service providers in the Czech Republic, held at the Palcát hotel in Tábor. Its distribution to interested readers, however, begins today.
More than 30 authors, experts from both theory and practice in social care, cover on 432 pages the history, current state, legislation, financing, forecasts, and ethical-philosophical aspects of field services in social care and their practical operation.
The book also includes presentations of several concrete projects, an overview of the form of caregiving service in Austria, answers from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic to questions from caregiving service providers, and the views of several key figures.
The book is published at a very favorable price by the largest domestic professional association of social service providers, the Association of Providers of Social Services of the Czech Republic, where it can also be ordered through its address and electronic contacts.
