Course name: Specialized Social Counseling Accredited educational program of the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic Scope: 180 hours
Target group of participants Graduates of the second level of university education with a humanities focus.
Lecturing team Consists of experts in the field from academic backgrounds with experience in providing direct counseling services to various groups of social clients.

Knowledge, skills and competencies of the graduate The graduate of the educational program possesses professional knowledge about social counseling, has skills in conducting counseling interviews with social clients, uses social counseling methods, applies counseling procedures and optimizes the counseling process. He/she is able to analyze and identify the problem of a social client, accept ethical principles of counseling practice, methodically guide procedures in working with a social client using self-reflexive skills. He/she masters non-standard situations in communication and cooperation between the counselor and the social client, focusing on motivating the client to positive change and mobilizing them in searching for new alternatives to solve the problem also through their own potential.

Where, when, how? The training will be held in person, in small groups (approx. 15 participants), in the form of two- to three-day full-day meetings in Prešov. The training fee is €680. The number of participants is limited!
