Od akademického roka 2022/2023 ponúka Katedra pedagogiky Pedagogickej fakulty Univerzity Konštantína Filozofa v Nitre pre záujemcov o oblasť vzdelávania dospelých a vzdelávania v oblasti BOZP dva nové akreditované študijné programy:

  • bachelor's programme

## ADULT EDUCATION AND OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY - master's programme

## ADULT EDUCATION AND COUNSELING.

Both programmes can be studied full-time (3 + 2 academic years), as well as in external form (4 + 3 academic years).

WHERE CAN GRADUATES FIND EMPLOYMENT?

A graduate of the study programme

ADULT EDUCATION AND OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY

is employed as:

  • lecturer of continuing education,
  • cultural and educational worker,
  • manager of continuing education,
  • professional worker assisting in the performance of guardianship rights and duties.

Jobs in which they should find employment include:

  • coordinator of educational activities,
  • lecturer in education for seniors,
  • manager of continuing education,
  • lecturer of continuing education,
  • methodologist in education and upbringing,
  • coach and others.

Graduates additionally gain necessary information about the principles of proper and safe employee behaviour in the workplace, and at the same time are prepared to coordinate educational activities in the area of occupational health and safety.

By taking the continuing education course titled Pedagogy and training of safety technicians (no. VVZ-0141/14-01.2), for which the faculty is authorized by the National Labour Inspectorate in Košice, graduates can also obtain authorization to work as independent lecturers in occupational safety and health (and at the same time as safety technicians).

A graduate of the study programme

ADULT EDUCATION AND COUNSELING

is employed as:

  • lecturer of continuing education,
  • cultural and educational worker,
  • manager of continuing education,
  • career counselor, or counselor in professional development and career coach,
  • career specialist,
  • specialist advisor of employment services (counselor at labor offices),
  • social curator for adults,
  • professional worker assisting in the performance of guardianship rights and duties.

Jobs in which they should find employment include:

  • coordinator of educational activities,
  • lecturer in education for seniors,
  • advisor for age management,
  • career consultant,
  • manager of continuing education,
  • career counselor,
  • career specialist,
  • lecturer of continuing education,
  • methodologist in education and upbringing,
  • coach and others.
