Proceedings abstract of the 20th jubilee conference of the Health Psychology Section of the ČMPS, Vernířovice 5/17 - 5/19/2013. Published by the University of Ostrava in Ostrava, Faculty of Pedagogy, Department of Pedagogical and School Psychology in cooperation with the Health Psychology Section of the ČMPS. Introduction

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the holding of regular conferences of the Health Psychology Section at the ČMPS and following the first Proceedings of Abstracts of the Conference of Health Psychology held in 2012 in Vernířovice u Šumperka, the Department of Pedagogical and School Psychology, Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Ostrava prepared this second edition of Abstracts of Communications, as part of the representative national conference of the ČMPS Health Psychology Section with international participation held on 17 - 19 5. 2013 as always in Vernířovice.

When signing up for active participation, interested parties were also asked this year to add to the requirements an abstract of their communication in the range of up to 250 words with an established structure, mandatory for communication of an empirical nature. In the case of a communication of an overview nature, the given structure is understandably not mandatory. The abstracts of the presentations were assessed by selected reviewers and the approved contributions were included in the conference program and in the Abstract Collection. We did not change the structure of the collection.

The collection is divided into two basic parts: the first contains the titles of the requested lectures, the topic of the discussion evening and the abstracts of the presentations of an overview nature, while the second contains the abstracts of the empirical presentations. The workplace of the first author is indicated in the abstracts. Both parts are supplemented by an alphabetical index of the first authors with contact information.

For the committee of the Health Psychology Section of the ČMPS Vladimír Kebza, Bohumil Koukola, Jiří Mareš guarantors of the professional program of the conference
