Dear colleagues, we would like to inform you that the Society for Research, Education and Application of Assisting Sciences is opening an accredited educational program "Supervision in Assisting Professions". The date and place will be specified.
Name of education: Supervision for helping professions Accredited educational program of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Slovak Republic Scope: 240 hours
Knowledge, skills and competences of the graduate After completing the educational program, the participant has knowledge of supervision, group processes and didactics, has skills in conducting individual and group supervision, analyzes and identifies the topic - the problem of the helping professional, adheres to the ethical principles of supervision practice. He is able to empathically understand and accept the supervised helping professional, during supervision he leads the supervisee to positive change in the search for new alternatives in working with the client, he knows how to methodically direct the interaction between the helping professional and the client using the self-reflective abilities of the individual, group, team and organization with an orientation to motivation and mobilization to solve the problem with his own potential. It supports the resolution of non-standard situations at the workplace in the field of communication and cooperation between co-workers and superiors with the aim of correction and positive change, ensuring optimal communication and cooperation. He masters the styles of supervision during supervision, techniques and tools in the supervision process.
Target group of participants Graduates II. degree of higher education with a focus on humanities.
Teaching team They are made up of experienced active supervisors practicing in various areas of helping professions with a focus on providing supervision, especially in the social sector.

Where, when, how? The training will take place face-to-face, in small groups (approx. 15 participants), in the form of two to three-day all-day meetings in Prešov. The price of the training is €840. The number of participants is limited!
