The metaparadigm of the scientific monograph is health, the perception of health with regard to cultural differences and the specifics of caring for persons from a culturally different community. Definitions of health are common knowledge. The application, analysis and scientific research of dimensions of health are new unanswered questions to be the subject of scientific debate.
The aim of the author's collective is to bring new results of studies in the field of health. In individual chapters, they present the results of theoretical studies carried out using the method of content analysis of available Slovak and foreign sources. At the same time, they emphasize the presentation of the results of scientific studies that were carried out in culturally different communities and in marginalized communities. The authors achieved these goals in two scientific fields, nursing and social work.
Teaching population health protection is one of the basic priorities of the aforementioned scientific fields. It is a long-term process of educating the population of different age groups, genders and cultures. These are also the reasons for designing the content of the monograph. The scientific monograph is intended for the professional public, academic officials, students who are entitled to part of the contents of Supplement VI. quote or paraphrase correctly.
