Student scientific professional activity (ŠVOČ) offers university students the opportunity to develop professional theses on topics related to the field of study. Involvement in ŠVOČ brings students valuable experience, a more detailed view of the researched issue, as well as the improvement of analytical skills in the field of scientific research. Students can use the knowledge and skills acquired in this way when writing their final thesis, in further studies or in their future employment.
All students at colleges and universities can participate in ŠVOČ, regardless of degree and form of study. Competitions at schools are carried out in the form of individual creative activity of students under the professional supervision of a university teacher or an internal consultant chosen by the student himself.
The result of ŠVOČ is students' works, while the best ones are often presented at ŠVOČ conferences, but they often deserve more attention. Therefore, the goal of our project THE BEST OF ŠVOČ 2024 is to reach out to consultants, students, representatives of academic institutions to submit the best works, and we will select the most valuable ones to be published in Prohuman and Projustice magazines. This option applies not only to Slovak, but also to foreign students and foreign schools. We will evaluate the authors of the best published works with an interesting book. It is a way for schools to advertise their professional activities to the students themselves.
