It's so simple, but I know from my experience and practice with clients that many times we think we are ourselves, but we are ruled by our patterns that we carry from childhood (EGO, ANGER, DEFIDENCE...) Here is one example.

I had a very pleasant meeting with Matúša. "I would like to make decisions more freely and not worry so much about who thinks what." He says.

We got together to his 11th birthday, where his parents filmed him and his younger sister on his birthday. They played together and frolicked in the meadow. His mother kept scolding him to pay attention to his sister, to do or not do things this way but that way... "It was humiliating for me and it was filmed! Everyone will see my mom still yelling at me!" He was very angry with his mother. So he tried to do only what his mother always wanted him to do. He was an obedient boy. We were looking for a solution together, how to change the situation so that he feels good about it.

If a person thinks with his head, he will immediately give a solution according to his formula - how it works in life, what he thinks would suit him.

  1. "I will lie down in the grass and watch the clouds move." In translation: I resign, I cough on everyone. (He usually had such resignations in his life too, when he had had enough of everything.)
  2. "Mommy, why are you still yelling at me, nothing's happening, we're playing normally!" Matúš was angry. Translated: I always do what someone wants me to do and I'm never grateful anyway. (He had outbursts of anger because he often suppressed himself either at work or at home.)

GOOD FEELING BUT IT WASN'T COMING...

  1. There was silence for a while. Tears welled up in his eyes "Don't do it to me mom, I'm ashamed." His whole life was shown in his head like a short film and he realized that he has actually been ashamed all his life of not doing things correctly as expected of him. He is afraid to stand up for himself, for what he feels, because it might not suit someone.

If we are afraid to make a decision, our mind tries to control our life. The result is decisions from the position of our EGA. Let's evaluate and weigh all the options, let's put the whole thing out of our heads and choose what feels right in our hearts and what makes us feel good and happy.

Let's keep in mind that if something does not serve our highest good, it certainly does not serve the people around us either. Therefore, let's get rid of false feelings of responsibility for others and make wise decisions. Let's stop for a moment, take a breath and tune into our Higher SELF.
