Civic Parliament, o.z. is a general platform of civil society and therefore resolves the demands of its member organizations and partners regarding the status of citizens and their social security in cooperation with the executive and social partners of the Government of the Slovak Republic. The citizens' parliament is represented in the regions of Slovakia by members of the citizens' parliament who are nominated from organizations of the III sector. At their general meeting held on March 23, 2013 in Bratislava, members of the Citizens' Parliament informed about independent candidates for the VUC elections to be held in 2013. Members and supporters of the Citizens' Parliament discussed petition sheets and the election possibilities of independent candidates. Civic - independent candidates are experts from various areas of social life, from all regions of Slovakia. Members of the Citizens' Parliament in their regions feel the support of independent candidates for the elections to the VÚC, because the candidates of political parties are losing the trust of civil society.
Members of the OP evaluated the National Project XXI aimed at supporting the employment of young people also in organizations of the III sector. Civic Parliament, o.z. he was a co-organizer of research on the possibility of creating new jobs in non-governmental organizations, he provides information on the possibilities of drawing money within the framework of this project, for civil associations within his platform. When creating new jobs, it cooperates with partner organizations such as the Academy of Social Entrepreneurship, s.r.o., NIRPaSK, o.z.. Standing Conference of the III Sector, o.z.
For June, the Citizens' Parliament is preparing folklore events in the framework of which important personalities will be honored as part of the "Slovak Family Tree Day and National Treasure of Slovakia" project. As part of the Program of Moral, Cultural, Educational and Economic Renewal of Slovakia, a "National Run" will be held to draw attention to the necessity of saving the mansion in Rusovce. The "Golden Amber" Fair is being prepared for the presentation of folk crafts, healthy lifestyle and culture in the heart of the largest housing estate in Slovakia in Petržalka.
Members of the citizens' parliament discussed the possibilities of introducing an independent citizen candidate for the presidential elections that will be held in 2014.
