During the months of July and August 2016, the staff of the Faculty of Health and Social Work, University of Trnava in Trnava conducted educational training for health and community workers in Kenya in the Matuga region. One health worker and one community health worker from 21 health centers in the region completed the training. The goal of the training was to increase the knowledge and skills of workers in reporting infectious diseases, to provide each health center in the region with a reporting tool - a tablet, and to monitor the epidemiological situation of infectious diseases in the required time and quality.
