The Faculty of Health Sciences of the Catholic University in Ružomberok warmly invites the professional public, academic staff, healthcare professionals, students, and all interested parties in current topics of health, disease, family, and care to the international scientific and professional conference RODINA – HEALTH – DISEASE / FAMILY – HEALTH – DISEASE 2026.
The event will take place on 27 October 2026 in person on the campus of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Catholic University in Ružomberok, in the premises of the dean's office building, Organová Hall, Nám. A. Hlinku 60, 034 01 Ružomberok.
The conference represents a significant professional meeting focused on linking scientific knowledge, clinical practice, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration in the areas of health, disease, family environment, prevention, care, and support of quality of life.
The goal of the conference is to create a space for the presentation of scientific and professional knowledge, exchange of experiences, expert discussion, and support of collaboration among professionals from the fields of nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, social work, public health, and related disciplines.
The event is carried out in cooperation with domestic and foreign partners: Tomáš Bati University in Zlín, Faculty of Humanities, Piastów Śląskich Medical University in Wrocław, Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, Andrzej Frycz Modrzejewski University in Kraków, Faculty of Health Sciences and the Slovak Chamber of Nurses and Midwives.
The conference is primarily intended for nurses, midwives, physiotherapists, social workers, academic staff, students, and experts from related fields. The official languages of the conference will be Slovak, Czech, Polish, and English.
Active and passive participation in the conference will be assessed with credits in accordance with the applicable regulations on continuous education of healthcare professionals. Each participant will receive a certificate of attendance.

Important dates
Registration for active and passive participation, submission of a structured abstract, full text of the contribution, and payment of the conference fee are due by 30 September 2026.
